Today marked the exciting launch of the Griffin Science Symposium at Willow Brook Primary, and what a start it was! Our annual celebration of discovery, innovation, and curiosity kicked off with a thrilling launch assembly, setting the stage for two weeks of hands-on scientific exploration.
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as students and teachers came together to IMAGINEâthis yearâs themeâchallenging us all to think big, experiment boldly, and explore the wonders of science like never before.
The Heart of the Action: Our Science Hub
One of the biggest highlights of the day was our brand-new Science Hub, packed with interactive experiments and immersive experiences. Pupils eagerly explored the range of hands-on activities, testing, tinkering, and thinking like real scientists.
But the true star of the day? Bernard, our brand-new 3D printer! Students watched in awe as Bernard sprang to life, carefully crafting its first-ever creationâa tiny, perfectly designed boat. Seeing the possibilities of 3D printing in action sparked endless excitement and curiosity among our budding engineers and designers.
Whatâs Next?
With experiments underway across every year groupâfrom designing alien plants to testing space survival gearâthe next two weeks promise to be packed with discovery, challenges, and big questions.
Tomorrow, the investigations continue, and we canât wait to see what our young scientists uncover next! Stay tuned for more updates as we journey through the Griffin Science Symposium.
