Year 6 pupils learned how strict schools were during Victorian times, and they compared this to life in the present, where technology plays a major role in learning.

Our amazing Year 5 pupils listened closely to the past through the Now+ play using the headsets, discovering what school life was like in 1877. They heard the firm voice of the Victorian teacher, the scratch of chalk on slates, and the rhythmic reciting of lessons from children in the classroom. They also heard the everyday sounds of life in the past, giving them a deeper sense of what 1877 was really like.
