This morning at Willow Brook School, teachers and pupils arrived to find something truly astonishing. A complete Victorian classroom had appeared suddenly inside the school overnight. No one knew who had placed it there or how it had mysteriously appeared. The unexpected room was discovered in the small, quiet hall near the Year 5 and 6 classrooms.

Reception pupils had the opportunity to learn what Victorian study was like around 1877. They used slates and chalk while the teacher wrote on slate boards. It was strict, and the pupils were well disciplined.
