We are delighted to share that Willow Brook Primary School has been recognised as an ‘Equal Access School 2024’ by Barclays and The Football Association’s (FA) Girls’ Football Schools’ Partnership. This prestigious award highlights our exceptional commitment to promoting equal opportunities for girls in football and celebrates our success in creating an inclusive environment for all pupils to enjoy and participate in sports.
As part of this nationwide initiative, we have been acknowledged for our tireless efforts to ensure that girls have the same access to football as boys, fostering a culture of inclusivity and teamwork. With growing participation in girls’ football and the development of talented young athletes, we are breaking down barriers and inspiring the next generation of female footballers.
This achievement is also a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Sports Coach, Jay Digance. His unwavering commitment to creating equal opportunities for all pupils has been instrumental in the school’s success. Through his guidance and encouragement, pupils have been able to develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a love for football. We thank Jay for his exceptional efforts in helping us achieve this recognition and for inspiring our young athletes every day.
At Willow Brook Primary School, we are dedicated to ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to participate in sports, develop their skills, and enjoy the benefits of teamwork and physical activity. This recognition reinforces our mission to foster an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
